Lol when she said SF I thought she was saying the name of a town in England or something since I couldn’t understand what she was saying. The video was extremely short but I think with the sound quality and overall majority of bad speeches that was probably for the best. I do like that both her parents walked her down the aisle which was very sweet. The only thing that made it their touch was in their wedding outfits, Ben with his high water cropped pants and Jenn with her off the shoulder detail (since I doubt a crop top wedding dress would work out so well). Jenn doesn't have a particular aesthetic so I knew the style of the wedding was going to be impersonal and not have that certain signature that made it a Jenn and Ben wedding. The venue was pretty but bland which matches Jenn to a T. And it wasn't because of their accent but rather the depth their speeches had. I feel like only Ben and his best men speeches were genuine and didn't seem so insufferable to listen to. I know Ashley isn't dumb but her "Ben is her rock" line she used in her MOH speech was extremely cringe-worthy. Hearing Ashley and Steph say their maid of honor speeches really tied in why Jenn sounds like a typical airheaded valley girl even more so. But it makes sense why Jenn doesn't sound as eloquent and her vernacular is so lacking. I also think her throwing in the phrases baby daddy, SF (just say the entire city name my goodness), and the wrong usage for the word "hurdles" only added to the detriment of her vows. To Jenn's vows being all over the place and even with her crying it didn't feel as heartfelt and moving. The drop in the quality of sound from Ben's to everyone else's was jarring (potato ass microphone is right). I think the speeches throughout ruined the video imo. i was hoping that they'd pay out of pocket and just enjoy the time together without posting instagram ads but i'm sadly not surprised. On the topic of her honeymoon, as soon as i saw that "buy return tickets from greece" on the whiteboard, i KNEW jenn and ben were set up with one of those sponsored resort packages that all influencers go on. we've discussed this before, but there was just NO personality or tributes to the couple. her entire wedding felt like it was plucked out of a catalog. the scenes of her getting dressed were so staged though, it felt like another sponsored video. I agree that her smile seemed really fake at first, though it seemed to loosen up and become more natural as the wedding progressed. Omg how do you know she made him pay for half ?ĭamn i thought y'all might be exaggerating about the recording quality but POTATO ASS MICROPHONE is such an apt way to describe it besides the sudden drop in audio quality, it was so jarring to go from ben's calm, loving vows to jenn's desperate, hyperventilating spew of insecurity. How do we know that it was Jenn who changed her mind, and that it was her who made him pay half? Do we know for sure James didn't offer to pay half or something?
It's goes against everything Jenn tries to project.Įven taking into consideration she had a wedding and mortgage to pay for I find it very hard to believe she was so financially strapped that she had no choice but to go back on her word, especially if she originally decided she was financially comfortable enough to come up with the idea in the first place.? Omg GG is the first place I heard of this incident, if it's true I'm shocked beyond belief at how foolish you have to be to broadcast/show off that gesture to tens of thousands on the internet and then be like ".jk". It's the least she could do after changing the terms on her brother's bday gift to a trip around the world w/in the US only and then making him pay HALF throughout the entire b-day trip in New Orleans. I hope Jenn isn't making James pay for everything and is actually treating him for once.
